Amsterdam Pt. 1

We are in the midst of a city that a lot of people dream of seeing. There is a lot of joy (for some) that takes place in this city, but there is also a lot of heartache. It remains one of the places that I have visited that is so beautiful and is drenched in history, but it will also break your heart.

A city known for it’s liberalism towards drugs and prostitution, as well as the home of Anne Frank and the city in which her infamous memoir was written. There is a beauty here that also contains an immense amount of darkness and melancholy, and although it is freezing , I don’t think that reasoning relies solely on the weather.
